Well , I think that we all know that fuel prices are continuing to rise through America. I kinda of feel like a puppet on a string , at the feet of oil companies and the governments regulation on energy. So what can you do about it , plenty.
*For starters try to plan out your errands, this you are not running across town just for one thing.
* Check your tire pressure every other fill up to maintain maximum mpg. And keep your car tuned up ie: Air filter , spark plugs , ignition wires.
*You can see gains by switching to a synthetic oil , by reducing friction in the drive train frees up power to the wheel, which in turn your engine does have to work as hard. Cost of these oils are higher than conventional oil but , drive train longevity and fuel cost are offset.
*Try carpooling or alternative methods of transportation such as riding a bicycle or walking to your destination.
